My sister thinks they are greatest things made, but she sells them. I think they have charcoal filters and charcoal is not good for you. I met a woman on a cruise whose brother tested water all over the US and he would not drink bottled water....ever. He said your city water is probably better for you than anything you can buy.

They are called reverse osmosis. Places like Lowes carries them. You can get under sink or a portable thing to set on the counter. I don't know about the toggle switch.

We already have the RO system. Our basement bar (new construction) has a line run to it from the RO. My question is about the faucet itself. I wanted to know if we could use ONE faucet with a toggle between the RO water and the regular water, or do we need TWO separate faucets (like we have in our kitchen). I can't find a faucet with a toggle, so either I am not searching correctly, or they do not exist. Thanks.

Try googling Tri Flow 3 way faucet. Several companies make them, one faucet head for hot, cold, and filtered water.

I would be happy to drink my city's water if it did not make me physically gag. I literally cannot keep it down. Even as much as they treat it, it still smells and tastes like the Shenandoah river that it is siphoned from.
