Anyone care to take a stab at this color?

I covet that purplish/pink color. Am thinking of using it in our guest room/future DD's bedroom (currently sharing with her twin brother) behind the bed and in the hallway closet turned mini-mudroom. I'd originally thought of doing the entire room in a pale pink but I tend towards bolder pinks and this one is right up my alley.

Since the guest room is not that big but has 10' ceilings, I think I can pull this color off, especially if I pair it with a white that works.

This is the bedroom with owner's furniture (we are leasing, hoping to buy but have permission to paint now):

The bed we have actually sits against the wall perpendicular to the window wall.

I am not great at picking coordinating whites.

What would you pair with this as far as a neutral?

Thanks!

I will try a few guess. And yes paired with white
    it will look beautiful.

I had a feeling that lucky little girl was the proud "owner" of a Hunt Slonem painting. Confirmed my guess and discovered the paint is Ben Moore Pre Dawn Sky.

    Scroll through the slide show.

Here is a link that might be useful: it's either #17 or #18 I think

amysrq - wow...thank you so much! Off to go check it out in person!

boxer - I do like the cerise & poetic purple...thanks for posting those.

    larke - grape. :)

btw - the young girl, I believe, is the daughter of Nanette Lepore and that is her room that Jonathan Adler designed for them. I would have just died to have that room when I was single. :D

Okay, so that explains the expensive painting.

It is a very cute room. I love the orange etagere!

I know the color has been found but I wanted
to add this for others who might be trying to find
colors close to the image. This looks like an option
    to me.

Boxer - thanks for that alternative! Some colors look perfect in photos but then when you get it into your space, it's a whole different thing. I'm hoping to make it out to BM when the kids go down for their naps.

Good news is that I finally ran the color and Nanette Lepore photo by DH and...He loves it!!!

I've been trying to get to Ben Moore for several days now but keep getting thwarted by toddlers and schedule.

I ended up getting a sample of Valspar's "Beet" and it looked so good on a canvas I painted that I went ahead and bought a gallon. Need to go out & get a decent edging brush though.

I'll post again when I've got pictures to show.

    Thanks for all the help!
