We need to install outside mount blinds in our den, kitchen and bedrooms as there is no room to do inside (old house built in 1964). I had 3 Day Blinds out today and do not like their valences. Our style is modern and we have low ceilings (8 foot) so their fairly traditional 4" tall valences are going to really be noticeable in these rooms and make the ceilings look lower (in my opinion). Would anyone ever mount an outside shade w/o a valence? Our walls and trim are Pratt & Lambert Seed Pearl so we were looking at white vinyl roller shades. Thanks,
