fraren if I remember correctly that green is BM Guilford Green. I saw that photo under the gallery thread for green paint.

spolina, you're lucky your wife has such good taste. Brown would have been so safe and not as interesting as this gorgeous color. LOL

considering I am a'love dark red person' ( I even had one all white kitchen with burgundy walls) I will go out on a limb here and hope that 4 years later, you have changed the red color in the kitchen. It is way too distracting with the black counters and beautiful cabinets. However it is a very pretty red. It is just way too many looks in one kitchen. I am really sorry to be so blunt. The contrast with the black and red against the beige cabs is just not right. I think a warmer taupe or medium to deep beige would have been best and then accessorizing in some of the red she likes so much. I want to say, however that your kitchen& your taste is just wonderful and the photo of the other area, just gorgeous. I really dont' however think that beige would have been a 'safe' color, I think it just might have highlighted the gorgeous cabinets and counters and lighting better. IMVHO> :)

Gorgeous! It's just the right amount of red. And the other rooms are fabulous as well! You have a lovely home-thanks for sharing.
