Hi! My bathroom needs a total overhaul and I'm not very great with decorating. I tried to sand and stain the doors of the vanity, but I stopped because I didn't like the look (plus it's laminate over particle board...gee I feel stupid now lol.) This bathroom is incredibly small, so I was thinking about painting the cabinet an antiqued ivory color with dark knobs, and getting a darker bronzed faucet. Should I paint the counter top, tile over it or get a new one? I'm not sure what color I want the walls to be, I just don't want my bathroom to feel dark and cramped. Any ideas or suggestions? Words of wisdom? Thanks in advance (and yeah, the place is a mess...two busy college students lol)

Maybe with some inspiration this ugly picture can end up a "before" picture to a great "after" shot!
