I am ready to paint the dining room in my house. It connects to a family type room we just painted BM Affinity color peau de soi. I hope to use another BM Affinity color. I love the paints and am pleased to paint with a product which does not harm the environment. Plus, all the affinity colors go with each other. The dining room has light oak furniture, and a rug with navy blue, cream, cranberry and some green. I need help. I love blue but keep reading not to do a dining room in blue. My very clever decorating friend suggests a cranberry color. I am nervous..this is a big change for me. I want it to be inviting and yet more formal than my kitchen eating area. HELP! I have enclosed a few pictures.
