Front Door Appeal

Help! I am trying to decide what color to keep for the sidelites. I tried the black and taupe, but I think the taupe would be nice if it was either darker or lighter than the house color. What do you think. I want the front entry to pop, but I don't want it to look too contemporary, as I live in New England. Any help appreicated. Thanks.

Thanks. I think it will be the black. Thanks for the suggestion to go to the discussion side. I'll try that. I know I had a hardtime downloading an image, but I will try again.
