This is a combination entry way, sitting room, desk area and dining room. The chairs will be moved to the dining area next week when the existing table/chairs are moved out.

The sofa is green, curtains gold, tables are spray painted antique gold and the consolem china cabinet and desk are mahagony. So is the dining table and chairs to be put behind the desk area next week.

The lamp shade can be changed and lamp can be painted.

I would really appreciate some suggestions for paint color. I want it to be relaxing but still have some pop to it so that it doesn't look like grandmas house but I can't seem to pick anything to go with the greens in the sofa.

Suggestions for things to put on top of and in the china cabinet area also welcome.

Curtains can be changed if needed. In a year or two I would like to put down hardwood floors, definately not this year so suggestions on a rug would also be appreciated.
