Advice needed for toddler (boy) room paint color

Hello - I'm looking for honest opinions about this room. Do you think it's boyish, too fancy etc? The room will be for a boy and I'm hoping not to have to do much with it in terms of changing the paint and trim. Does it look ok? Do you think if I painted the bottom half white perhaps, that it would down-play all the trim and fanciness?
