We're planning a spring break trip there in the next month. I was needing someplace we could fly to without having to change planes and spending most of a day getting there. I also need a place on water; I need water views badly, I guess ;^D

I've already made our plane reservations and also found an ocean-front condo for us, as I like being able to make us laid-back breakfasts (and some lunches) instead of having to go out for them.

Questions: Are you familiar with the island? Any recommendations for great places to eat . . . or places NOT to eat? Things to do? Places to shop? Best beach? Are mosquitoes a problem in late-April?

Any GWers living there???
