Browns only please (not taupes or tans thank you)

I am asking this because so many of the pics in the browns and taupes post were deleted so I am not sure what colors they showed. I am interested in brown for my living room and would love to see posts like that.

Spolina, I loved the color of your wall. Have you moved in so that you could show me the room with furniture. I know it can change the look. As much as I have held certain browns up to my furniture I am having a hard time deciding.

Sorry I don't remember the name of this, but if anyone likes it I have the code on the can. It was a Sears paint mixed in Kilz.

I also fell in love with Spolina's LR color (BM Whitall Brown) and got a quart to try and it looks great. I think I'm going to go for it. I wanted a change from RH cappuccino to something darker & more dramatic.

Would love to see some rich browns! I was first inspired by the LR eye candy thread, where there are a few.

This is a photo from a "home show" I attended a few yrs ago, I do not have the color name of the brown paint, but I thought that it might be good for inspiration for you all that want some examples of a rich brown.

Janice,I agree, and I think what really makes the difference between the brown being overpowering in the room is all the white trim, it just sets the deep brown off so nicely.
