First time to post on this site.

I have a combined kitchen dining area that has medium yellow walls with blue and yellow furniture colors. The wall of windows (4) face west with a corner window. I would like to keep view open and only use vinyl blinds for sun control in the afternoon. I was thinking of using a tie up Valance in the attached fabric. It is a heavy weight fabric. It would not get direct sunlight so I wont line it. Would the fabric I show be suitable and look O.K.

Any advice would be appreciated
