Hello,

I need help updating and 'freshening' up my living room. I just purchased the rug (a neutral persian with cream, chocolate, tan and grey) and now I'm regretting the choice as it's made the living room too traditional and busy.

The sofas (cream on cream damask) and the curtains (dark gray on light gray damask) can be changed, although it'd be great if they could stay as they're both relatively new.

I'd appreciate any suggestions in terms of accessories (accent tables, lamps, art work, cushions), and if I HAVE to change the rug, curtains or sofas, then I'd appreciate suggestions on that too! Thank you everyone!
