What width curtain panels to frame my bay window? (pic)

What width of curtain panels would you use to frame my bay window?

Dimensions: 84" wide inside the frame; 35" to each side from inside frame edge to wall.

Would a 50" wide floorlength panel on each side be right? What I want is available in 104" width (Pottery Barn lichen silk, out of stock now in 50" widths); I was thinking of getting a 104" panel and getting a seamstress to cut it in half. I'll do a bronze metal rod and rings.

Everything in the photo is staying, including the wooden shutter blinds (which are what give nighttime privacy). The purpose of the curtains will be to add softness, not ever to cover over the window. I can't find any guidance online on how wide a side panel should be to "look right" if it's never going to be closed!

FYI, the paint is less mustardy and more tan than in picture.
