Quick help - Glove Sizes

I am buying a pair of long leather gloves as a gift-- problem is, the recipient is petite. She's small and has small hands. Not freakishly small but definitely short and slight. I am the opposite and have big 'ol man hands-- so I am out of my comfort zone!

So, I can get a size 7, 7.5 or 6.5 .. I'm leaning towards a the 6 1/2 but I just don't know. I didnt even *know* they made gloves that small until tonight! Can anyone provide guidance? Is 6.5 freakishly small or just the right size for a petite woman?

I have small delicate hands and I wear a 6 1/2

That does seem right, I have medium hands but long fingers
and I take a 7.5 so petite hands and fingers would
be 6.5 imo.

I also have small hands (5'1") over here, and 7's are usually big, so 6.5 sounds right.
