May be a good gift for your Dad or DH!

If you know of any men that are of the World War II era, or World War II enthusiast, I have heard this is a very good book. Might make a good Christmas gift/read. I know my father would have enjoyed reading it if he were still here. Men are so hard to shop for so just a suggestion!!!

It's a great book by the same author who wrote Seabiscuit, Laura Hillenbrand. I read somewhere Unbroken is being made into a movie, too.

Another book recently out along those same lines is, "Vanished: The Sixty Year Search For The Missing Men Of WW2". My father's brother is one of those missing men. Dad told me that he'd love to get that book for Christmas.

Here is another fascinating one from that time period. It is a story of a German pilot who allowed a gravely disabled plane to make it back to base and even escorted it part of the way. A very remarkable story that my son read this year.
