I just received a gift of a craft made pendent from my SIL. I thought we stopped exchanging gifts after a few years of I sent her but she didn't me, then I didn't for her and then nothing for a while.

First, this is something I would never wear, but I do appreciate the thought.

But, here's the but, she is a master knitter. Her fingers are actually bent from all her knitting. She makes tons o shawls for herself and I have seen her make herself sweaters. Yet, I have nothing from her! I would love anything knitted from her rather than all these silly things that I have no use for.

Just venting, but I wonder how many of you here have friends or relatives that could share their talents but don't?
