I'd probably trust The Bay to be the most reliable as they are a large department store. However, it would probably be best to phone them to see what their policy is on cross-border shipping and if they have that particular item in stock. I don't live, and have never lived, in Toronto but I expect their store on Yonge Street may be their main store there and the one I would phone first. Since you live in the eastern US that would be the closest store.

I've ordered from the Bay's website before, they are reputable, so is Sears and Costco so I wouldn't hesitate to order from any of them.

I am not from Canada, but I would try the ones that also have stores in the US like Sears.

Mtn'dux, I purchase the Fazzino Paris Joi DeVie 22" carry on when it first came out. Little did I know I could have purchased it on ebay for a lot less!
