I Made Halloween Cards!!! Had To Share

I like creating my own, personalized birthday and holiday cards for friends and family and I am so proud of the way this year's Halloween cards turned out. As anyone with dogs and cats knows, getting them to hold still for a pic . . . let alone in a costume is tough. Getting two of them to hold still together is near impossible! At least, with my two it is. Taken separately and in costume pieces we already had (DD's pirate costume) and one of her old American Girl doll costumes, I came up with this card that I created using a Treat.com template.
Ronin, our Dobie, was resigned to getting his pic taken, although not very happy about it. I don't know if you can spot his gold hoop earring, but I ended up attaching it to his head scarf, NOT his ear. Chloe, our Tibetan Spaniel, always freaks out when we try to take her photo. I don't think she appreciated the pearl necklace or the hair bow (LOL!).

Treat promised that all Halloween cards ordered by a certain date would arrive in time. DD's arrived this afternoon. I'm hoping the rest do, too.

They are incredible! My 4 can only be in one pic when they are piling on each other wearing only their collars. I've got to check out that site!

Very cute!! Love the caption for the little girl dog. I have a female dog who seems to be saying the same thing sometimes!

Thank you all so much for your kind comments. It was fun to try and do something with my two sweet furkids on a Halloween card this year. Treat,com has been a good medium for me to work in creating holiday, birthday, anniversary, graduation, etc. cards for my (huge) family and friends these past 4 years. I like that it allows me to change the font and the wording on the cards that I like, as well as giving me the ability to add my own pics. For me, it's been incredibly creative.
Thankfully, my Dobie, Ronin, is a very mellow, laid-back guy. And, although Tibetan Spaniels are very, very, very mellow dogs (as well as quiet/non-barky) they do tend to stress out in front of a camera sometimes (LOL).
Anyhoo, my goal was to use whatever I could scrounge up here in our costume box and work with it as best I could. I used a number of safety pins and rubber bands to get things to fit right! DD has a huge wardrobe for her little Chloe, so I had a number of things to choose from. I chose the 50's Girl because, while I really enjoyed the movie "Grease", my friends and family all know that I couldn't stand the saccharine sweet song from it, "Look at Me, I'm Sandra Dee".
