I just posted it twice. I'm losing it! Just so excited.

Over the years, we have slowly replaced the aluminum windows. The family room was the worst in the house. It had a corner window and a sliding glass door on the other wall.

The windows aren't cheap but we are trying to give the house as close to originals as we can. These windows are fiberglass outside, paint grade inside. Six windows and one door cost $12k. Some of the other windows have been stain grade in the past but I have enough wood inside my house.

I have always wondered why the builders never thought to put a window to the view. Sure, it's an old house but our bedroom is on the same side (upstairs) and there is a wall of windows in there.

We ordered a new front door too. It's Mahogany with Ashley Norton hardware. Can't wait!
