Actually it's Montana's "Beartooth Pass"! When we got to Billings, MT, we stayed o-nite, then drove to Red-Lodge, MT. Just out of RL, you start the looooonnng/STUNNING climb up to Beartooth-Pass! It actually has TWO highpoints. One is @ ~10,500ft. where that little ski-lift is, and the other/higher summit a few switchbacks later @ 10,950ft.!!

Too easy. I recognized it instantly. Here is my photo from July 20, 2013. Although, I had to pulled this out of my overflow/reject folder (there were better shots I put into my master/sharing folder), I chose it because it looked so much like yours!

Oops. Sorry. That was poorly written. It wasn't as a slam to any photos. I just meant I had some that didn't include my car's mirror, so I used them in the master folder.

My brother moved from CA to retire in Montana at age 55.
So jealous ...

Even stranger is that I also learned a GW member on another forum and I were at Grand Teton NP on the same day during the trip, and we were both hiking near the same lake.
