The sweetest birthday gift

I woke up this morning to find my cell phone had over 35 text messages on it, all from different numbers.

They were all birthday wishes from my son's friends. He'd asked them to send me a greeting. It was so sweet! Some gave their names, or I could figure out who they were by what they said. There were anecdotes, a poem, and a few compliments about my son. One young man thanked me for always believing in him. Some of the young people I'd never met, but they all wished me well.

It made me tear up!

Phone bombed on your birthday! How great is that! Your son is so thoughtful and I think it is the sweetest thing he did for you. I hope you have had a wonderful birthday and will re-read the messages and enjoy them again and again.
