Absolutely agree altho it's not only the stuff that is made in China. Costco has a very low mark-up over wholesale costs so often have great bargains on women's clothing. I have found good quality t-neck sweaters at Costco half price to the identical (except for labels) ones at a chain store I routinely shop at. I had already bought a couple at the higher price but stocked up at Costco (one of each available color) enough to last a few years.

Most of the time it takes more sleuthing than I am willing to do so just buy things I like when I find them. If they are on sale even better.

I love selective shopping for bargains at Costco and FWIW the way they apparently make their profit is because they don't pay their suppliers for months and by then have sold the products and invested the profits. This is something that small stores are unable to do but it's the reason Costco can sell at 10% over wholesale price (according to a wholesaler I spoke with).

Absolutely and not just clothes. I bought a Sferra bath rug at Tuesday Morning and loved it, then preceded to see the same exact bath rug - it's distinctive- in multiple places under different brand names and cheaper than what I paid for it.
I guess I though Sferra was exclusive, nope.

I bought an "exclusive to the shopping channel" Bedding then found it in the Sears catalog 3 mos later. So much for "exclusive."

One year I worked for a clothing manufacturer. We stamped the production orders _____ Packing for chain stores, where ____ was the name of the chain, and something else for other stores. The item was always the same.
