shee I don't know if you have an REI near you but here's a link to their BPA free water bottles. I like CamelBak products but the one I use has the bite grip straw and you don't want that. Look at the CamelBak Classic - I think that's what you're looking for.

Can I tack another question on this post? I know alot of sites are pushing aluminum water bottles as the "most green" since you can ultimately recyclye them and they don't contain BPA. But the thought of drinking out of a metal bottle turns me off. Does it "taste" like metal? I just picture it to be akin to drinking out of one of my cooking pots, LOL.

I really like the Nalgene OTG (On The Go) bottle, which is now BPA free. It has a flip top drinking spout, which I really like, and it stays sealed well. I really don't like the water bottles where you have to unscrew the lid to drink out of them. The widemouth ones can get sloshy if you try to drink out of them if you are doing anything active, and the narrow ones seem like they would be hard to clean. The OTG is easy to clean and drink out of.

Yeah I was wondering about the metal taste too. I read some reviews earlier about make sure the products are made in the USA etc.

My niece went to stainless steel water bottles like these. I'm sure you can find them cheaper but SS is a great alternative to plastics.
