I live in a very dry area and have struggled with this issue since moving here. I've tried many different eye creams but the one which seems to be working best for me now is Benefit's "It's Potent!. I've only been using it 2-3 weeks (the sales associates told me to give it a good six weeks) and I can see a significant difference. I now only have one teensy dry patch on the inside corner of one upper eye lid which I'm hoping will clear up soon.

I've been using coconut oil at night around my eyes and on my whole face.

I find coconut oil very soothing on any irritated skin.

Would you believe good 'ol Ponds cold cream? I first put just a tad on and rub it in very gently~since it's very oily, it doesn't absorb instantly. I wait about 5 minutes and then pat on more, not rubbing in. If you're sitting around watching TV, wash your face and put some on. I use it on my neck and chest also, and wear a t-shirt to bed so it doesn't get on sheets. I love the smell , too.

If you want strictly an eye cream that is very soothing, try Teamine (by Revision). It is available at a skin care facility usually associated with a plastic/reconstructive surgeons office (or at least that is where I bought mine). I usually, and still do, use Bobbi Brown, but after my eyelid surgery, which included laser treatment in the lower eyelid region, I had to be really careful of the product used. They recommended this eye cream and it was very soothing. Certain ingredients in eye creams were prohibited for several weeks in fact, so I had to quit using my usual eye cream.
