Hi everyone,

I was reading ellendi's thread and thinking how I really believe in the power of positive thoughts and thought I should update you on how my DD's friend is doing since you all jumped in to send her your best and help when she needed a match for a bone marrow transplant.

They ended up doing a cord blood transplant instead (I think that's what you call it or maybe stem cell?). This was riskier and longer recovery time, but it went really well and she is at home recovering. She still has a long road ahead of her, but this one hurdle is cleared. Thanks to everyone for being tested and just offering to send those positive thoughts.
