| It seems like I haven't seen any posts by Stinky-G lately. Has anyone heard from her? Did I miss something like a mention she'd be away? I've been trying to ask this for days but often I have trouble logging in or staying logged in or remembering to ask. |

| I'm kind of worried about stinky because she doesn't seem like the kind of person who would just completely stop posting without any explanation. |
|
| I hope if anyone has a way to contact her offsite that they do so and tell her we're asking for her. I think she doesn't have the email thru GW feature but maybe someone emails her privately and could send her our regards. If not, then this might be one of those unanswerable mysteries. |

| I sent her an email today. I had wondered about her before you posted this. Also, Newdawn? |
|
| Thanks Bumblebeez. I believe New Dawn recently posted, I can't remember which thread, so she's been 'in' but not very active. Maybe their lives are so full of good and fun things they don't have as much time to check in here. Or maybe they just have a computer problem. |

| Hey, Hhireno! Thanks for posting this...so nice of you to think about me! Thanks too, to JT, Nance, & BB! Frankly, so much goes on here, I am utterly surprised you missed me! I've been away from the computer lately! One reason- I spent time with a neighbor lady who lives alone after she came home from hip replacement surgery. She's fine now & has been given the go-ahead to drive, is walking without a walker, and even climbing stairs quite well alone. About a week ago I was planning to check in here (I have wondered about you all!) then I received news that my cousin's husband killed himself. I was never close to him, as he was very reclusive, and only became more so with age (a tendency of my own that I need to keep in check.) I enjoyed spending time with his wife at family occasions over the years. I have much affection for her and their daughter. They live many miles away. Anyway, though I barely knew the man, my heart aches for the wife and daughter. He went out in their backyard and shot himself. His wife found him. Prior to that, I think I had some winter blues in February & into March, though it wasn't wintery here at all! Maybe I am experiencing some peri-menopausal symptoms too? Good grief! Am I a ray of sunshine or what? My spirits are lifting now that true signs of Spring are here, though I realize many of the buds & blooms are emerging prematurely. Isn't it remarkable how something as mundane as seeing a Japanese Maple start to leaf-out can do wonders for your outlook? Thanks again, dear Hhireno, and thanks to all of you who e-mailed me. Sorry it took me some time to get back to you. |

| Oh, hello, my little gardenweb friends and thank you Bumblebeez and hhireno for asking about me. I know I haven't been in here much for the last four or five months with the exception of a response or two. Actually, I have met someone and we have been traveling quite a bit. We've been to Charleston, Savannah, Las Vegas and Arizona. We are talking about going to Europe, I've never been. It sounds serious, doesn't it? But, things could end tomorrow, so why not see the world? Believe it or not we are just friends at this point, it takes time. Thanks for asking about me, how sweet. I've been wondering about you too Stinky. ....Jane |

| Oh, you sound so sweet jterrilynn. I do love my friends on here. Thanks Nancybee, I do hope we go as well. .....Jane |
|
| Oh good, you're both back. I'm sorry to read about Stinky's reasons for being away but happy that Newdawn has been too busy traveling to be here. That is an excellent reason for missing out on our little group chats. |
