I keep several journals, actual books. I keep one for each of my kids (3), one for memories of my parents, and a prayer journal. I don't write in them every day, just when feeling moved to do so. And I don't go back and read them. I'm afraid that reading them will influence what I write next. I want everything to be fresh and present in the time that I am writing.

I keep a journal, but I mostly use it to handle stressful times and occurrences, not to record daily life.

The online one I tried was My Wonderful Days Lite, but I didn't love it. I prefer Paper which is the most realistic sketchbook/notebook that I've found. You can actually use a pen tool within the app to write on your pages. There's something about writing that's more therapeutic to me than typing. You also might like Clear which is great for list making.

That is a great idea Joanie. I like the idea of one for each kid. Wish I had started something like that when they were younger. :)
