God Bless Texas...;-) Go Bison!!!

Wow...what a trip!
(I don't really mean that in the 60's/70's kinda thinking...;-)) !

Uffda!
* Left New-Years-Day (Wed.) @ 10 am. Temp was just below Zero I think! Set the cruise @~ 77mph., & headed S. on I-29.
* 1st nites hotel (Wed.) was in Council-Bluffs, Iowa.
* 2nd nite (Thur.) was a Country-Suites in OKC, OK.
* Friday am...the "assault into Texas"!

The whole trip down was SO cool! You'd see all kinds of Bison-tagged cars, RV's, Motorhomes, tour-buses, etc. Stickers, window-clings, window-paint, etc.! Everyone would "show their horns" when passing other "Bison"-vehicles! (index-finger & pinkie extended...middle-two fingers curled under thumb). Most people were dressed in Bison-Green and/or Gold. You'd see random Bison vehicles/people @ gas-stations, rest-stops, hotels, etc. It was like an 1,100 mile caravan!!

In Texas-
* Stayed at the Dallas/Addison Marriot by the Galleria, on Quorum drive. NICE place! I'd stay there again in a heartbeat! Lots of Bison fans there too.
* Friday & Sat. nites were here.

Congrats to your team!! I'm feelling it with you. OU beat Alabama in the Sugar Bowl. All the sports people kept saying we'd lose.

They need to look up "Sooner Magic." ;)

I'm NOT a 'Bama fan...AT ALL. GLAD OU won!!

This has been SUCH a special year for Bison football.
* Perfect season.
* 3 FCS National-Championships IN. A. ROW.
* That's only been done twice b4.
* 3 yr. record of 43-2 I believe.
* 4 yrs. ago, we came within inches (still a very controversial call...on the goal-line as time expired) of going to the FCS-Championship.

So....yeah....BISON and SOONER "Magic" have happened...again!
