The charge HR just came out today (in canada at least). It measures your heartrate. I want one.

No, I was going to ask for one for Xmas but I decided to wait for the charge (but the purple one doesn't come out for a few more weeks).

I had read in one review that the heartrate monitor isn't that great but still think it would be interesting!

The One has probably been the most popular. I just got the One from DH for Christmas. Plus I got a new Poalr FT4 HR monitor.

I would really want the Surge or the Charge. The Surge also has GPS which seems to be the main difference.

I like the One, because I don't like wearing it on my wrist.

I don't know the accuracy of the HR monitors on the new Fitbit. I actually have a colleague who is at the Consumer Electronics Show looking at fitness technology. I should ask him.

The Polar HRM's are definitely electrocardiogram (ECG) accurate. The new polar DH got me was only around $50.

Thank you everyone! I'm still not sure which one he will want. He wouldn't need the gps and if the heart rate monitor isn't accurate why spend more for it? The silent alarm seems to be a nice feature.

Very easy! You just program date, time, DOB, gender
