This has been a whirlwind two weeks. Our realtor asked us if we could get our house ready to list immediately rather than waiting until February 1. We agreed, did lots of cleaning, remodeled a bathroom, had pictures taken and the house was listed this past Tuesday. We've had seven showings through yesterday and this afternoon received a full price contract! I can't believe we did it! Buyers do not need to sell a home and have a good downpayment so things should be smooth. They are even agreeable to not closing until mid-May when our new home should be ready. Thank goodness we don't have to move twice! Cracking open the champaign!
