| This is a poem that was written many years ago by a friend. She has given me permission to use it for publication:
A TRUE BLUE CROSS-STITCHER TAKES PRIDE IN HER WORK;
MORAL OBLIGATIONS SHE'LL NEVER SHIRK.
THESE CHARTS AND DESIGNS WERE DONE FOR YOUR PLEASURE;
BUT LET'S NOT FORGET, THEY A DESIGNER'S TREASURE.
MANY LONG HOURS WERE SPENT ON EACH ONE;
CHARTING AND CHANGING UNTIL IT WAS DONE.
IF NOT FOR THESE ARTISTS, WHERE WOULD WE START?
LET'S KEEP THEM IN BUSINESS, DON'T COPY THEIR CHARTS.
COPYING'S ILLEGAL, IMMORAL, AND WRONG!
"I BOUGHT THIS CHART!" IS THE TRUE CROSS-STITCHER'S SONG!
