What are the different sizes of floss.Need Help

Want to use floss to outline a design but I want it to appear pretty thick.Your help is needed.

| Floss is six strands. You can use one strand, or however many you need to get the effect you want. Just try on a piece of scrap cloth with various numbers of strands. |

You could also use pearle cotton.
