I am looking for 2 patterns from 1989 Cross Stitch and Country Crafts magazines. They are "Sand Castles" from the '89 May/June issue and "Collecting Shells" from the '89 July/Aug issue. I would love a photo copy if anyone has these! Thanks

Strange that you are looking for these charts! I just contacted another person about the same ones. I have the charts. You can contact me if you are still looking.

It is illegal to photocopy, or copy in any way, a cross stitch chart and send/give it to someone else. You may make a working copy for yourself, but you also must have the original. Ms. VGary

MS. V GARY: In my posting, I don't recall offering to photocopy or copy the charts. I simply stated that I had the charts if she wanted them. Pardon my blunt response, but perhaps you should make cross stitch more of a hobby than appointing yourself a deputy of the copyright police - especially when there's no crime being committed. People like you make message boards unpleasant.

DianeWC, don't get your shorts in a knot. The original poster requested a photo copy, perhaps Ms. VGary's remarks were directed to that poster. And yes, photocopies are illegal, even if you find it unpleasant when it is pointed out.

xstitcher54 - perhaps it was directed at the original poster. I am not the one with shorts in a knot - Ms. VGary was. I don't find it unpleasant when it's pointed out - only when I am being accused of it, especially in an open forum. The original poster obviously did not have the chart to make a working copy of, so who else was being spoken to? Perhaps you should mind your own business, too. Thanks for your input, though.
