How do I enlarge a pattern? Letters and numbers

Posted by ilovepink (My Page) on

I have some patterns for different letters. Well, I want to make the letters that are 20 stitches high and wide bigger. I know if I had bigger canvas that would work. But, is there a way to double stitches or add rows?

If I remember correctly you would have to make 4 stitches for each one in order for it to be the correct size. If you just do two it would be wider but not taller. You may want to try this on a scrap to make sure. It's been a long time since I did this and I figured it out for myself. Good luck and I'd like to know what your results are. ;-) Nancy
