Do you prewash aida cloth?

| I like to prewash before stitching on it. It takes away that starchy stiffness and leaves less obvious hoop rings. Anyone else do this? |

| I usually launder after and have never had hoop marks afterwards. Usually by the time you get done with a project, it could stand a good laundering, even if soaking in a large pitcher of cold water and Cheer...does the job. |
