My friend is making a embroidery picture, but can not find the thread in this area.
She needs 2 skeins of whisper white.
This a design from lavender lace called Celtic Women.

It would help if you could give us the DMC or Anchor color number. Most floss listings are by number rather than color.

You can always go to 123stitch and buy the threads. Hope it helps.

I am checking with DMC-USA and the pdf file of colors to numbers only lists three "white" they are:
White (no number)
Winter White 3865
Snow White B5200

SO I don't know what "whisper white" could be.
Check out the link,

'Wisper' is a brand name of a fuzzy white thread made by Rainbow Gallery. (It's great for Santa beards, etc.)

Only the L&L Celtic Winter calls for Wisper though, so I'm assuming that's the one she's doing?

Most ONS's sell Wisper - unfortunately, 123Stitch doesn't carry it, they're a wonderful source for most everything else. You can find it here:

Hope this helps.
