I have just bought a computer after using a webtv for a few years. I made the switch because so many of the sites require Adobie reader to open patterns. Now I'm learning that I also need other programs to open all kinds of files. For example, I downloaded a cute chart called Kittens on a Crate. Guess what--- I can't open it. Windows doesn't recognize this type of file. Can someone explain what other programs I need to download so I can open these charts? Thanks for any help! toriacooks@msn.com

I am not sure of the pattern viewer you are using but if you go to www.patternsonline.com you will find links to a couple of different pattern viewers. These are a good starting point. Jacqueline

If you go to DMC, they have a link to PC Stitch to view their patterns. I have PC Stitch 5 now and am thinking of going to PC Stitch 7 because of the new features. PC Stitch is about $39.95 and will convert your photos and drawings to hand sewn cross stitch. It is a marvelous little program well worth the expenditure.
