| Several months ago someone posted a picture of light bulbs painted like a cardinal.I would love to paint one for my son but can't remember exactly how she did it. would really appreciate a picture. |

| Yep, I was the one who posted about the cardinals.
I made 24 for an ornament exchange that I go to. They were a big hit, they certainly show off well on a Christmas tree! Let me know if you have any questions or if I can help you. |

| The hats are a tube sewn of ribbed knitting, available at most fabric shops. Sew a tube, roll up the bottom and glue into place, place over the bulb end and tie it off. Simple, really. The faces I copied from the book, Watts Next, by Sandy Holman. |
