Fabric Covered balls that look like artichokes

Does anyone have instructions on how to make these fabric covered styrofoam balls that look like artichokes? If so, please send me the link.

I know what you mean and I'm looking in my files never thought of them as artichokes

I think thi is what you want I'm still looking in my files for my copy. this call for ribbon but you can use pieces of attractive material instead of the ribbon
