Can you gals (and guys) help me figure this out...

I want to make a little Spirit of Christmas packet to sell at my show -

Poem in progress - I don't want a really long poem, but this one is not quite right -

This little gift brings Christmas cheer

SantaÂs elves left it here -

Wishing you a happy holiday

With warm memories that long will stay.

Pass on the tradition, put on your elf ears!

Attach this poem to a gift from you

And deliver it to a neighbour whoÂs near!

I'll attach the poem to a little cellophane bag with a candle, perhaps a candy cane and a small ornament in it.

How do I get the point across at the show that they would buy it to put on their neighbour's door, or is that obvious? If you received this on your door, would you get the drift that you are supposed to replace the items with something from your home and send it on?

Any poem editor's input would also be appreciated.
