| I was given an angel that was made with a wooden spoon and
the dress and wings were made from two cotton doilies which wre embroidered on the front. I also saw them at a craft show today and would love to make some for gifts. Does anyone know a source for the doiles? |

| Michael's or Joann's should have them. Kmart might or Ben Franklin Crafts, sometimes a yarn shop will carry some but they are pricey.Otherwise try ebay. What size are they ?with spoon I imagine at least 8 in. My new wooden spoon is 10 in. long from end to start of bowl of spoon. So 8 in. doily would leave her "leg"showing. Sounds cute! Do you have a dime store or 99c store, they might be plastic tho. Jan |
