Luvs, my local True Value store has them for under $2.00 for the gallon, and 89 cents for the quarts. I painted 2 for my SIL's last Christmas with their favorite NFL team logos, and filled them with snacks, momentoes of their team, nerf footballs, etc. and they both display them proudly in their houses. I'm going to do some for my DD's this year, one of them loves FB, the other doesn't so I'm trying to come up with something for the one that doesn't do football.

I get them at Ace Hardware. About the same prices as Frances says at True Value.

Thanks ladies, I have a local hardware store--can't remember if it is Ace or True Value, but will check them out--guess I just never expect things to be cheaper there! Always nice to be able to stretch my dollars a little further. I like this idea--nice change from the usual gift baskets. Luvs

I made xmas survival kits several years ago, used a star stamped green chinese takeout box, filled it with different mixes of stuff: mint foot cream, a wooden foot roller, small aroma therapy candle small pack of bath stuff, either bubbles or salts, a loofa or a bath sponge. I wrapped some in tull, and used cello on others ties in a bow at top and added a tag with about stress and shopping. Most stuff I found at the dollar store.
