| I made several of these fridge magnets using bottle caps and polymer clay. The idea is to make little pies. Try to get caps that have been twisted off so they aren't bent. Next I used a black marking pen to color over the labels. Depending on what kind of pie you want, use polymer clay the color of your filling. I made "cherry" using red for the filling. Next cut a circle of beige or white to use for the pastry crust. I made my filling rather full to give it a good look, Drape the "Crust" over the filling and using the tip of your finger press the edges along the bottle cap edges and trim off the excess. Now cut tiny steam vents into the pastry. I wanted to show the filling so I cut out a slice of the pie to show the inside. Bake according to your polymer clay instructions. This is a very easy project even for children. Hope you have as much fun with these as I have. |
