donnas, the ones you see on the snowman posted were glass bulbs, kinda old ones, they were white and bumpy already, out of those so I am trying the styrofoam ones,I have tried dunking the ball in white gesso ,or spounging gives kinda of a bumpy look
bouth are still drying so not sure what will work best yet.

I make thease too...and I like to cover styrofoam balls with mod podge,,,and sprinkle with a mix of poly glitter and Diamond dust ...they look great.If I could figure out how to post pics ...I would post some.But cant quite figure it out ...I'm bummed. But mind you mine are not in any way shape or form as good as oddies! Donna
