I read on another fourm where a very clever crafter was makeing there own springs from heavey gauge wire, didnt show a photo but Iam sure it cant be to hard, well maybe! my thoughts would be to fill a soda bottle with water and freeze for a form, dont know what gauge of wire maybe your hubbys would know and could help, just a thought for those of you who cant get the bed springs and would like to try that craft.
Happy Crafting

12 gauge copper wire is great for so many projects - I buy it by the 500' roll .

This always makes me think of the old mattress I burnt a few years ago. I hauled it out of my attic and tossed it onto the burn pile. I cursed all those dang old rusty springs I picked up afterwards. I put them all into the loader bucket and hauled them to the dump....sigh.......

Who knew?!!!!
