This is awesome:) Gifts in a jar are such welcome gifts, too. Easy to make, and last a long time on the shelf til just the right day to use them. And so many sites have labels free to print out.

I love making these. We used to make about 15 different ones to sell for our bazaar at church. Now we no longer have bazaars. :( I miss making them. I found they sold very well at church but when selling them at shows.... not so much. They are fun though!

On the peppermint bath salts, the glycerin it talks about, is HB or like places where you get it? and the peppermint oil, is it the kind you use in soap, or is it what you can use in cooking?
|
HB is suppose to HL.

I use glycerine that you buy in the pharmacy section at Walmart, or the dollar stores. A little goes a long way. I buy the scented oils at Michaels with my coupons. It is the kind for soap. Make sure it is the kind for soap and NOT the kind for potpourri(that will burn skin) A little of that goes a long way, too. If I color the bath salts I use regular food colors...but that makes it a pale pastel color. You can buy the kind of coloring for soaps, and it makes it a little darker. Check the salts in the grocery section,too...they have all kinds. The larger crystals will look like diamonds when you color them. I use epsom salts.
