| I think that's what they are called. It looks like a piece of foam board with batting then covered with fabric. You then take a ribbon and criss cross it with buttons or tacks at the intersections. You can then slip your photos under the ribbons. I would like directions because I can't quite figure out how the buttons or tacks are fastened. Any help would be appreciated.
TIA,

| Hi, We made 3 for my daughters room at college. She wanted them larger than we could find cork boards, so we bought pre-stretched artist canvas'. Then we wrapped them with fabric and used a staple gun to attach it to the back. To put the ribbon on we staple gunned it to the back also but to attach it at the criss crosses we used earring blanks and glued metal scrapbook letters on them and put a dab of hot glue on the back to keep them from coming loose. You could glue almost anything to the front of the earring blanks and they were easy to push through the ribbon and fabric. They turned out pretty cute and were not a lot of work. To cover the boards we used leftover fabric scraps from a duvet cover we had made so everything matches. Good luck and have fun! |
