| As a joke I am going to decorate a pair of birkenstock sandals for my friend. She is very glitzy - I know of course that I could use rhinestones, but does anyone else have any ideas or has anyone ever done something similar to this? Thanks for any help. |

| Someone here did the sandals with the fuzzy yarn on them. It's like a mohair (soft). Go to Joann's or Michael's craft store and they have setups for the sandals (if not taken down already) and/or ask the clerks for help. I'm sure they'll know what you're talking about. Sorry I couldn't be of more help. (Or look up decorated sandals on the web.) Sal |

| Thank you Sal for your reply. I did do a search on the internet, but kept coming up with rhinestone studded or handpainted - nothing different. The mohair yarn sounds interesting - I will search that and ask at Joannes. Thanks so much. |
