I'm looking for ideas to frame in this cat door. Like a doll house door (although I don't like that idea), or the cat coming out of a mouse's mouth?

This is a back door mudroom with the cat hole door mid way on the wall.

I think that one of the most charming things about the fairy doors is that they often mimic their location. That seems like a nice thing for kitty doors as well. Perhaps the kitty door could reflect your decor? Echo the people door or some other design element.

The sailboat on the shelf reminded me of the poem "The Owl and the Pussycat"

Perhaps the kitty door could be a little pea green boat?
